Ganesh Jain

Mr. Ganesh Jain, the eldest Jain among the seven brothers, is one of the proud Directors, Founders & Promoters of the Venus Group. Ganeshji has 30 years of rich experience in acquisition and exploitation of all kinds of copyrights in respect of Movies and Music. He has a great passion for Hindi music and cinema. Ganesh Jain looks after the music arm of Venus and his leadership is unquestionable. What better instance than the decision to acquire the Music Rights of the Bollywood movie “Mohra” in 1994, much against the wishes of the other Directors on board, which subsequently emerged as a huge success. He is the Finance Controller of the company for more than two decades. Ganeshji is the Chairman of The Indian Music Industry (IMI) and PPL, in fact, the dynamic Veteran is the only Chairman to be re-elected consecutively (i.e. in 2012 & for further period from 2013 to 2015). He is also a Pro-active Board member and office bearer in IPRS, and also the president of Indian Film Exporters Association and other institutions related to Movies & Music industry.

Ganeshji is always one step ahead in his work. He always believed in standout performances and he is now known for waving the flag of Venus Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Worldwide!!

Ratan Jain

The light-eyed Ratan Jain, who is the tall, willowy figure often captured on candid camera is a renowned producer, maintaining a low profile, away from the limelight. Ratan Jain, who founded Music Business 3 decades ago, i.e. at the primary stage of present Indian Music Industry, is now the creative brain in visualizing and deciding the final set-up and broad contours of the film production at its conceptual stage. Ratanji was the creative brain behind  Venus venturing into Film Production arena through 1992 Bollywood suspense thriller film “Khiladi” & had the foresight to identify the huge potential in the current Mega star ‘Akshay Kumar’. In his subsequent takeoff, again in the thriller genre, 1993 Blockbuster film “Baazigar”, offered the launch –pad for Shahrukh Khan as a sole lead actor. Both the Blockbusters were in association with the Director duo Abbas Mastan, thus making them well known in the action & thriller genres. Subsequently in 2000, Ratanji joined hands with Director Dharmesh Darshan for a romantic-drama “Dhadkan”, which went on to become one of Bollywood’s most popular love stories & people are still in love with the  music of Dhadkan. Venus Music Baron and owner of Venus Movies, Ratan Jain, is a symbol of dedication, devotion and determination, with an exceptional savor for Music, which has throughout reflected in his Productions, Khiladi (1992 ), Baazigar (1993), Dhadkan (2000),  to name a few, which has turned out to be Musical Blockbusters as well.


Ratanji has actively worked for the causes of the film industry & was the President of Association of Motion Pictures & TV Programme Producers (AMPTPP) during the period 2009 – 2011 & currently in the Governing Council.
